The fall of man
‘And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner.’ – 1 Timothy 2:14
The greatest historical downfalls of humanity came about through certain women taking the lead and their husbands heeding after them, be it Eve and her husband listening to her unto tragedy for all, or Abraham heeding his wife Sarah and bringing forth Ishmael and thus Islam and Al Qaeda and ISIS tormenting the world today, followed to a lesser degree by such as Mary Baker Eddy spawning Christian Science, or Batya Wooten birthing the Two-House Ephraimite heresy, or Ellen White, her talented but sometimes wild speculations and imaginings enthroned only by Adventists as prophecy, or even our own dear Jewess Miriam unwillingly becoming Mary the goddess of Catholicism.
The Biblical and divine order given us is this: “But I want you to understand that the head of every man is Messiah, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Messiah is God” (1 Corinthians 11:3). By the ignoring or reversing of this order we cause deception to spread and can lead many astray into error. We see this now in the extreme as the world unravels sexual identities and roles are reversed in rebellion, confusion, and chaos. We must not either identify with that lawlessness, nor compromise with it or, worse yet, contribute to it. Therefore, may men take hold of their God-given position of authority and responsibility, and women their God-given role of dignity and honor, celebrating our differences in harmony– not in uniformity. Equal does not mean the same.
This is what we find written in the New Testament: ‘A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet. For Adam was formed first, then Eve. And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner.” – 1 Timothy 2:11-14 ‘Women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the law says. If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church’. – 1 Corinthians 14:34-35 I did not write that.
Here in Jerusalem we get all the “prophets and prophetesses” imaginable, and are mostly outlandish and their predictions seldom come to pass. If a ‘prophet’ is wrong about one point prophesied, he or she is a false prophet (Deut. 18:22). I have personally and publicly brought to order one ‘prophetess’ who gave widespread the very date of our destruction which, thank Heaven, did not come to pass. Of course, she claimed it didn’t happen because she prayed it wouldn’t, and played the Jonah card in her defense. No, there is no room for speculation games in this very serious business, for using the name of the Lord in vain bears consequences. Whether it be women or men such as Joseph Smith or Muhammad, errant teaching and false prophecy produce historical consequences. It is time for the wisdom that begins with a healthy fear of God to return to our congregations, and discernment in these days of great deception and apostasy.

Israel may now be very close to a major war
With our Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu having taken over the Defense Ministry of the Israeli government, he has now placed himself in the position to make all the military calls. I believe that Netanyahu knows that his time in the Israeli government is drawing to a close, but also that God may have kept him in the Prime Minister’s position for such a time as this, possibly for a prophetic purpose to be fulfilled while he is still Prime Minister.
[Cited from Arutz Sheva 7 Israel National News, January 3, 2015, by Mark Langfan … ‘Obama Threatened to Shoot Down IAF Iran Strike’ The Bethlehem-based news agency Ma’an had cited Kawaiti newspaper report Saturday, that US President Barack Obama thwarted an Israeli military attack against Iran’s nuclear facilities in 2014 by threatening to shoot down Israeli jets before they could reach there targets in Iran. Following Obama’s threat, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu was reportedly forced to abort the planned Iran attack.]
For as long as I can remember our Prime Minister’s primary concern has always been to totally stop Iran’s nuclear program. But he has also confidently believed that his big brother, the U.S. government’s military power with President Trump backing him, will also be there to help him, to protect him and Israel. But President Trump has just pulled out all the U. S. military forces from Syria. Are we about to witness some major collision? Will Israel suddenly be forced, with no other nation being there to help them, to single handedly take out the Iran nuclear facilities? Will the United States be one of those ‘young lions’ that just stands by, looking on, and saying to Gog, of the land of Magog, “have you come to take plunder?” Ezekiel 38:13
Why is Iran the first nation mentioned coming with Gog in this War, and coming just as foot soldiers? Ezekiel 38:5 If Iran still had nuclear power, they would have annihilated Israel. If Israel suddenly takes out the Iran nuclear facilities, will this be the hook in the jaws of Gog which God uses as the catalyst to bring about this major Middle East War, and also in His perfect timing?
If a military War, such as the Ezekiel 38 – 39 Gog Magog
War, happens suddenly, I believe that God will not allow any nation to be able to help Israel. When God brings the nation of Israel to Himself by sovereignly winning this War and saving Israel, then this will show His Israeli Jewish people that He has always been there for them, and that He has never left them. So are things about to change drastically here in Israel, and also in the United States? Only time will tell, and perhaps we will know very soon.
Have the Israeli Messianic pastors prepared their believers for the possible soon coming Gog Magog Middle East War, followed by strong Israeli Orthodox Religious persecutions?
I believe now is the time to be preparing the believers in Yeshua for the soon coming Ezekiel 38 – 39 Middle East War, which will almost immediately be followed by very serious persecutions from Israeli Orthodox Religious Jews.
When the God of Israel sovereignly wins this War, then the unsaved secular Israeli Jews, in gratitude to God for saving their lives, will do something, I believe, which they have never done before, they will give their support to the Israeli Orthodox religious Jews, who will very quickly gain great political power in Israel. With this newly gained political power, the Israeli religious Jews will strongly persecute those Jews in the more than 300 Congregations and also the Christian Chuches in Israel, whom they think believe in other gods, specifically in Yeshua. (The sad fact is that it is they, the Orthodox religious Jews, who have left the Word of God of the Tanakh, and mainly follow a non biblical Oral Law. Thus they cannot see, or perhaps even refuse to see Yeshua as their Messiah in the Scriptures.) And you must know that the Israeli Orthodox religious Jews already know exactly where every public Messianic Congregation and Christian Church is located in Israel.
With the soon coming persecutions by the religious Jews, I believe that the following scenario will also happen:
Then will come the Great Outpouring of God’s Holy Spirit of Love bringing in the Great World Revival, with the salvation of multitudes of souls, with great signs, wonders and miracles. This mighty move of God’s Love will begin from Jerusalem in the ben Hinnom Valley, and perhaps also other places in Israel, such as up in the Galilee, and will last for a couple of years, going worldwide, until the anti Christ finally takes over the Jerusalem Temple on Mount Moriah on Zion Hill, at the time of mid Tribulation. He will stop all sacrifices being done by the Israeli Orthodox Aaronic priests, and he will declare himself to be God. And he will set up ‘abomination of desolation’ in the Jerusalem Temple.
Lord Yeshua, help Your Body to prepare many small groups and home groups, active and functioning in every geographic area in this nation, with plenty of basic survival materials, such as water, stored food, gas masks for any possible biological or chemical warfare; and also with the things necessary for continued growth and discipleship. Also with quantities of evangelistic materials for the coming great harvest of both unsaved Jews and Arabs and people from the nations.
Make all this information available to every pastor and ministry leader, for them to be able to share the information with those in their congregations.
Lord Yeshua, help the pastors to encourage their believers to also invite other believers living in the same geographical areas to attend these small groups and home groups; for if the pastors do not encourage this, the believers will certainly do this on their own. Give us all a heart of compassion to really love and forgive each other, and also to love the lost Jews and Arabs now living all around us, and especially all the sick and hurting people.
Do your sheep know what to do when war comes?
Do your sheep also know what to do during the coming times of serious religious Jewish persecutions, after the Israeli religious Jews gain great political Power?
“But a hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them. The hireling flees because he is a hireling and does not care about the sheep.” John 10:12, 13

Ezekiel 33:2-7 “Son of man, speak to the children of your people, and say to them, ‘When I bring the sword upon a land, and the people of the land take a man from their territory and make him their watchman, when he sees the sword coming upon the land, if he blows the trumpet and warns the people, then whoever hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, if the sword comes and takes him away, his blood shall be on his own head. He heard the sound of the trumpet, but did not take warning; his blood shall be upon himself. But he who takes warning will save his life. But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at the watchman’s hand.’ “So you, son of man: I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore you shall hear a word from My mouth and warn them for Me.”

A sign spoken against
One thing about Christmas is that it is not a celebration of a shadow or type, looking for the One of whom Moses and the Prophets spoke. It is focused on Him who came — the Son has come, the Light shines brightly!
Ps 69: 5-9 (6-10 Heb) O God, You know my foolishness, and my sins are not hidden from You. Let not those who hope in You, O YHVH God of Hosts, be ashamed because of me; let not those who seek You be confounded because of me, O God of Israel. Because for Your sake I have borne reproach; shame has covered my face. I have become a stranger to my brothers, and an alien to my mother’s children (Mk 3:21; 6:3; Jn 7:1-5). Because zeal for Your house has eaten me up, and the reproaches of those who reproach You have fallen on me. (Rom 15:3)
Lk 2: 29-35 [Simeon] took [Yeshua] up in his arms and blessed God and said: Lord, now You are letting Your servant depart in peace, according to Your word; for my eyes have seen Your salvation which You have prepared before the face of all peoples, a light to bring revelation to the Gentiles, and the glory of Your people Israel. . . .Behold, this One is destined for the fall and rising of many in Israel, and for a sign which will be spoken against, . . .that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.
–Who is That Man?! Who is this child that was born, this Son that is given? (Is 9:6-7)
–just a man, a son of Mary?
–just a brother, of Yaakov, Joseph, Judah, Simon, and of sisters, too? They thought He was crazy.
–just a carpenter or a stonemason, son of Joseph? (Mt 13:54-57) They were all offended by Him and His wisdom.
–just a son of David, or one of the prophets and teachers (rabbis)? (Mt 22:42-46; 16:13-20)
–Jesus the Son bears the reproach of God His Father: YHVH is holy, holy, holy. Yeshua did not come to please Himself, but His Father – God – and those weaker than Himself, in order to build them up. Yeshua love His Father and His Father’s house – the Temple. Do we stand up for Jesus when He we hear others speak against Him, or say something not true about Him? Do we defend the congregation when we hear others speak poorly of it? Do we love Jesus; do we love the church?
–We are to go outside the camp where Messiah is and bear His reproach.
–He is the only one with the words of eternal life.
–He is the one who brings both Jew and Gentile into equal standing with God: this Jew; this crucified One.
–Yeshua – like His Father – is blamed for all the evil and suffering in the world, because He allows it, and does not prevent or stop it [yet]. He is the Scapegoat because He took our sins upon His own body on the cross, becoming a curse for us, so that we could become righteous and blessed!
–If Jesus is only a myth, then Israel as God’s chosen people – and this land as God’s promised land for His people – is also only a myth. If YHVH and Jesus is/are just a myth, then why is He blamed for everything. Thus, the Jews become the scapegoat, since they “invented this myth”; and Christians are hated, because they believe it. Why live, or die, for what is only a myth or a legend?!
–While we believe that this is no myth, but that YHVH God is the true God and Creator of all that is, those who do not believe in Him or in His words (written for us in the Bible) make up their own myth and expect people to validate it as a legitimate alternative to believe and live for. YHVH God is true, and His word is truth. YHVH God is not a myth or a legend, and neither is the Bible – both OT and NT.
–Great responsibility not to be a cause of stumbling for those seeking truth, for those seeking the true God, or of those whose hope is already in YHVH God of Hosts, the God of Israel
–It is essential to give our children and our churches proofs from the Bible concerning controversial issues, to enable them to stand against those who want to attack generally accepted truths handed down to believers from generation to generation – the faith which was once-for-all delivered to the saints.
—God will abase all pride because He – the great God – humbled Himself and was/is humiliated by the pride and foolishness of man.
–God Almighty came in flesh and blood; born as a baby, in poverty, in weakness.
–What reproach did Mary and Joseph have to bear for being chosen for such a miracle and done in such a way that Miriam was thought to have been unfaithful to Joseph and to the holiness of YHVH?
–If illegitimate, then Yeshua is unworthy and unacceptable to be in the assembly of God (Dt 23:2) But He is the Holy One of God, the Holy One of Israel! (Lk 1:30-35)
–What did the people of Bethlehem think when all the babies were killed by Herod because of hearing that the Messiah, the rightful King of Israel, had been born?
—God does not do things to satisfy our own understanding or expectation, but rather for us to take note that He has intervened in the affairs of man for His own holy name’s sake.
God is good; He is righteous; He is love; He keeps covenant and mercy to those who love Him and keep His commandments. He has a plan of redemption that He is fulfilling, and will fulfill fully. Yeshua was born according to God’s promise; Yeshua died and rose again the third day according to the Scriptures; Yeshua is acting and governing today according to the will of the Father; and He will return at the set time which the Father has determined already. We are to remain faithful to the end, growing in trust and hope and love in the Living God. Blessed are they who are not offended in Him. (Mt 11:3-6)
We want to celebrate and to exalt our Lord and Savior Yeshua the Messiah, who still today is the Rock of Offense for the falling and rise of many in Israel, and for a sign spoken against, that the hearts of many – including us in the Body of Christ – may be revealed. He is our hope and joy.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only-begotten Son, that whosoever should believe on Him should not perish, but inherit everlasting life.”

Secrets surrounding the birth of Messiah (Part 1)
You know what I love about Christmas? Well, it is not the eggnog or Santa imposters. Nor is it the trees, stockings, watching “Home Alone” or “It’s a Wonderful Life”. In truth, I have never celebrated Christmas. I did not grow up with it and, here in Israel, December 25th is just another day. You could go through the entire day in Tel Aviv and have no idea that it was Christmas.
But what I do love about it, is that each year, at this time with so much focus on the story of the birth of Messiah, I find myself drawn afresh to Luke, chapter two. Over the past few years, I have really fallen in love with this story. And, then, something happened last April—something possibly earth-shattering. I saw something that I will share a few details about, at the end of this series.
I urge you to read this until the end -the most exciting parts are in the middle.
But, first, there is much about the story of Yeshua’s birth that is slightly off and incorrect. Let’s set the record straight.
Ruth Needs to be Honored
The story of Yeshua’s birth really starts with a Gentile who loved the Jewish people. You know Ruth’s story. She was the Moabitess whose husband died. Instead of going back to her own people, she clung to her mother-in-law Naomi, and was eventually spotted by Boaz. Where was Boaz from? Why, Bethlehem, of course. Technically, it was Bethlehem Ephrathah.
“Then the elders and all the people at the gate said, ‘We are witnesses. May the Lord make the woman who is coming into your home like Rachel and Leah, who together built up the family of Israel. May you have standing in Ephrathah and be famous in Bethlehem. Through the offspring the Lord gives you by this young woman, may your family be like that of Perez, whom Tamar bore to Judah.’
” …Ruth … gave birth to a son. The women said to Naomi: ‘Praise be to the Lord, who this day has not left you without a guardian-redeemer. May he become famous throughout Israel! He was the father of Jesse, the father of David.’” (Ruth 4:11-17)
Ruth is the great-grandmother of David, and Yeshua is the Son of David. Those blessings over Ruth were prophetic and referred to the coming Messiah. I imagine those elders, who thought they were just taking care of some mundane business, suddenly felt the Spirit of God when Ruth legally was given to Boaz and they prophesied.
When they said, “May you have standing in Ephrathah and be famous in Bethlehem,”surely they were prophesying where the Messiah would be born! Of course, this is confirmed by the prophet Micah, who said:
“But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,
though you are small among the clans of Judah,
out of you will come for me
one who will be ruler over Israel,
whose origins are from of old,
from ancient times.” (Micah 5:2)

Australia’s new stance on Jerusalem – half-right, or all wrong?
Australia’s recognition of “Western Jerusalem” can only perpetuate the Arab-Israeli conflict, not, as the Labor Party fallaciously charges, because it supports Israel’s claim to half the city, but because it supports the false Arab claim to any of it.
What, I have been asked, are we to make of Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison’s December 14, 2018 announcement that his government now recognises “West Jerusalem” as the capital of Israel?
The move has been welcomed by many – the Executive Council of Australian Jewry (ECAJ), the Australian Jewish Association (AJA), Advance Australia, the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ) among them.
I can identify the political considerations likely to have lent shape to both the decision by Australia’s PM and the response to it from my Jewish friends and Christian brothers.
But what I – who have longed to see Australia do “the right thing” (to quote Liberal Party Senator James Paterson) by recognising Jerusalem as Israel’s undivided capital and relocating its embassy there – make of Morrison’s announcement is this:
– Applauded by some as a step in the right direction, it is surely a step in the wrong one.
– Instead of being “balanced”, “measured” and “well-considered” it is prejudiced against the only true claimants; it perpetuates the universal distortion of the indisputable truth, and it singularly lacks the courage of statesmanship.
– By referring (five times!) in his statement to “Western Jerusalem” Morrison is actively – if involuntarily – maintaining a malicious myth based on widespread falsehood and deceit.
– There is no Western Jerusalem.
– There is no Eastern Jerusalem.
– In its documented 4000-year history, Jerusalem has never been a city with two halves. (The 19-year Jordanian occupation of part of the city was internationally condemned as illegal.)
– In their verifiable recorded national history (Biblical and post-Biblical, written and archeologically substantiated), while in their land and during their centuries of exile from it, the Jews for 3000 years regarded Jerusalem as their capital.
– By contrast, the Palestinian Arabs have not a single day of national historical existencehere on record. They have simply never been a nation with a state. They have never been a sovereign anywhere, let alone in any part of this city. How, then, is the Morrison government’s new policy “balanced”?
– In their brief modern form as a savagely anti-Semitic political entity, the ‘Palestinians’ have consistently and violently rejected submissions that the Jews have any right to the city or the land.
– Combined with Morrison’s “commitment to a two-state solution”, his de facto re-division of Jerusalem with this recognition of its ‘Western’ part will only harden the resolve of these enemies of Israel.
– Australia’s recognition of “Western Jerusalem” can therefore only perpetuate the Arab-Israeli conflict, not, as the Labor Party fallaciously charges, because it supports Israel’s claim to half the city, but because it supports the false Arab claim to any of it.
What I’ve also noted:
– While Israel has diplomatically expressed appreciation for Morrison’s move, it has also not tried to hide its disappointment.
– Morrison’s attempt to be “balanced” and “measured” has earned him little support from friends, unleashed scorn from his political opponents, and fed fury and condemnation from Australia’s enemies.
– Australian Christians by and large have abandoned the political battlefield to the enemy; except for a relative handful of exceptions that I’m aware of, they will not speak publicly and openly enough into the question of their country’s recognition of undivided Jerusalem, nor strongly voice their opposition to a ‘Palestinian’ state being established in the Land of Israel.
– The ‘progressive’ Left, meanwhile, attacks without letup – calling relentlessly for the recognition of Palestine and division of Jerusalem into the capitals of two states, and heaping scorn on Eric Abetz, Tony Abbott, James Paterson and others who want to truly stand with Israel.
– The ANZAC spirit that a hundred years ago led in liberating of the Land of Israel from Islamic Ottoman rule is today sadly unseen.
However – and I refuse to accept that current circumstances cannot be turned around – being unseen doesn’t mean that the courage and unstoppability of the ANZACS has been lost.
I’ve met thousands of Aussies and I know how strongly they love their country and how that motivates them to want to help see their leaders do the right thing.
Australians, and Australian Christians, can be fearless; they can continue to lobby their government to be fearless.
They should note the following:
– The taboo attached to recognising Jerusalem – the log-jam – has been broken by the United States and Guatemala; the Czech Republic has taken its first step in that direction by opening the Czech House in Jerusalem; Brazil’s about-to-be-inaugurated new president has announced his intention of moving its embassy, and Scott Morrison’s move – with a course correction – can be built on. There is momentum that Australia can catch and ride.
– Donald Trump’s step-by-step approach (first announcing recognition of Jerusalem and committing to moving the embassy; then saying that it would take years and cost a fortune; then saying it could be done by the end of 2018; then setting the date on Israel’s 70th anniversary date; and finally opening the embassy on May 14 this year, just five months after his first announcement) defused the hysteria of the Islamic world and brought to virtually nothing their threats of violence.
– Even if those threats are real, Aussies have had – and I’m sure still have – the guts to stand for what they believe is right, pooh-poohing the danger. They are not known, nationally, to be self-centered. Australia has been ranked at the very top of the world’s most generous-hearted countries.
– The Australian creed of “a fair go” can and should be harnessed in service of this cause. What needs changing is the focus from the distortion framing the ‘Palestinians’ as the underdog; as Israel’s victims to, (using the documented and verifiable facts mentioned above) the also readily-substantiated truths: that Israel is the victim of international injustice and prejudice; that standing with Israel on its claims to its ancestral homeland and millennia-old capital is the right and fair thing to do.
As a Bible-believing Christian, these are also my thoughts:
– A professing Pentecostal, Scott Morrison’s stand on Jerusalem (and his support for a two-state solution) would resonate with those who say they are Christians but who widely hold the Scripturally unsupportable view that the promises God once made to the nation of Israel now apply to the Church. The Prime Minister’s political statement could suggest that he regards as no longer valid God’s specific designation of the Land of Israel within the Biblically-prescribed borders (which include not only Judea and Samaria, Gaza and the Golan Heights, but also parts of today’s Jordan, Syrian and Lebanon) as belonging forever and exclusively to the Jews.
– The lying assertion that they only want “Eastern Jerusalem” as the capital of the hoped-for State of Palestine only seeks satanically to mask the truth about the part of the city the Islamic world really wants: the Mountain of the LORD God of Israel, where He has inscribed His name and on which He will enthrone His King (Psalm 2:4-6).
Speaking of the Bible, it’ll soon be Christmas when Australian Christians will call to mind the following verses. Do they believe all that Gabriel says?
Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favour with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.” (Luke 1:30-33 – emphasis mine)
NB: Jerusalem – made capital 3000 years ago by King David of the tribe of Judah, hence David the Jew. The capital and site of the throne of the coming Messiah, Son of David, Lion of Judah, King of the Jews who will reign over the “house of Jacob” – Jacob who was renamed “Israel” and from whose 12 sons the tribe of Judah, the Jews, originates.
Christians – at least those who say they believe the Bible – must surely be challenged to see and understand this.
